  • General questions

    • I already have an existing app, can I use or embed your solution?

      Yes. Blurit API is based on a Rest/json architecture and is therefore compatible with almost all development languages and platforms.

    • What is your pricing model?

      For the API / online version, the pricing is based on a variable cost (which depends on the number of megabytes processed by Blurit) and a fixed cost based on the chosen support plan. You can access the pricing details on the following web page https://blurit.io/pricing. For the On Premise version, the pricing is based on a set-up price and a yearly license. As every project has its own particularity, contact us for more information and a dedicated quotation.

    • Which payment methods do you accept?

      Currently, the only accepted payment method is through Credit card. Blurit rely on Stripe (stripe.com) solution which is one of the most popular and secured payment architecture.

    • Can I try Blurit for free?

      Yes, you can enjoy free access to blur your images and videos by subscribing to an account. To benefit from it, you just have to select the signup link and select the free plan. Please note that this offer is limited in volume of processing, but ideal for testing and small projects.

    • Does Blurit comply with data privacy laws?

      Blurit is compliant for the faces and plates anonymization part of such regulation. However, it is your responsibility to make sure that your local regulation only imply to anonymize faces and plates as laws may be different from one country to another and may not be limited to faces/plates blurring.

    • Where are your servers based?

      All our servers for both processing and hosting are based in the EU.

    • Do you visualize my processed files?

      No, we don't access your images nor videos. Files remain hosted and available 7 days for your benefit only. After 7 days, files are definitively deleted.

    • Do you keep my files after processing?

      All processed data, are stored 7 days (starting from the initial upload) and then destroyed. During the storing duration, we have no actions on the processed files nor on the original files.

    • We are a self driving car company, can we use Blurit to anonymize our files?

      Yes, Blurit can be integrated with any existing solution or embedded locally and is able to anonymize huge amount of data. We are already working with several automotive companies on those topics.

  • Functional Questions

    • If I use your On Premise version, is there a user limitation?

      No, there is no user limitation nor consumption limitation.

    • Do you provide an account managing platform?

      By using Blurit, you are also granted with an access to our management and analytics platform (manager.wassa.io). This platform allows you to manage your account as well as your services.

    • What types of images or videos are supported by Blurit ?

      JPEG, JPG,PNG, MP4, avi format are supported. Also, Blurit offers a bulk feature to upload zip files.

    • Which image resolutions are supported?

      We support all images and resolutions: 480, 720, 1080, 1920, 4K, 8K, 12K.

    • Do you support fisheye / 360° files?

      Yes, Blurit detects and blurs perfectly fisheye / 360° images and videos.

    • Can I upload my files in a compressed file?

      Yes, Blurit provides a Bulk feature so that you can upload up to 8GB of various files in a compressed file. As a result you also download a unique compressed file.

    • I just need to blur faces on my videos. Is it possible?

      Yes, Blurit offers the choice between faces and/or plates blurring. This feature is available for both pictures and videos.

    • Can I extract the positions of the faces and plates within the image?

      Yes, we provide a Json file that indicates the blurred position. This feature is available for both picture and video processing.

    • What is the average processing duration?

      The processing time depends on the processed files characteristics such as the resolution, the size and the number of objects detected. Thereafter we can't provide an average processing duration. To get a more accurate estimation you can send us your main characteristics.

    • How can I protect my blurred files from illegal copying?

      Yes, we also provide watermark service. This service is available for use with your api credentials as well as on the online platform.

    • I have noticed that your company provides others image analysis services. How can I access and use them?

      You can access the details of all our other services on the website services.wassa.io. You can access and use these services with the credentials you received by subscribing to Blurit.

  • Technical Questions

    • I don't have a technical background, how can I use or embed your solution?

      Although Blurit is a easy to use and well documented solution, you need to have development skills to embed Blurit as an API. If you don’t have these skills, you can still directly access the service through our online platform or ask us for a dedicated development.

    • Can I use Blurit on any device type?

      Yes, Blurit is designed to work on any type of device (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet).

    • Do you provide a technical support?

      You can reach out to our technical team trough email or a hotline. Depending on the support plan you chose, the SLA may be different. For more details, feel free to contact us at contact@blurit.io.

    • What are the technical requirements for the On Premise deployment?

      Blurit is based on Docker and has to be deployed on Linux. It is compliant with most distribution (Ubuntu, Debian, Red Hat,...). For more details, feel free to contact us on our contact email contact@blurit.io.

    • Where can I find my API credentials?

      To get your api credentials, you have to access your customer area on the online managing platform.
